Program Overview

What is FRAVT?

The First Responder Advanced Vessel Training (FRAVT) is a specialized program designed to enhance the operational capabilities of public safety agencies. Our training focuses on vessel handling, close-quarters maneuvering, and the proficient use of cutting-edge marine electronics.

Participants will gain invaluable skills that boost safety and confidence, ensuring their teams can respond effectively to emergencies. By mastering advanced systems like radar, GPS, and thermal imaging, crews will operate with precision and assurance.

FRAVT helps bridge the gap many agencies are facing with growing numbers of highly trained and competent operators moving into retirement. Our program is tailored to meet the unique needs of each team, providing them with the tools necessary to excel in their maritime missions.

If your department cannot afford hesitation, miscommunication, or equipment-driven errors, FRAVT provides structured, scenario-based vessel training designed to reduce operational risk before it shows up on the water. Because the time to identify gaps in crew performance and vessel capability is during training — not during a live response.
